Support between milestones

A day counter can recognize progress. We also want to help with the ordinary moments around it: an honest journal entry, a conversation with someone who understands, a message to your person, or a local activity that gives your week something to look forward to.

That is why the app brings together journaling, milestones, peer connection, My Person check-in plans, an AI companion, Explore and recovery resources.

Lived experience, with clear limits

Joe’s experience informs the product. It is not a clinical credential, and SmartSober is not a treatment provider. We describe what the product does without promising to diagnose, detect or prevent relapse. AI replies and Health signals do not establish someone’s condition.

SmartSober is independent of AA, NA and the other organizations linked in Resources. It can sit alongside your existing people, recovery program and professional care.

Where we are today

SmartSober is in private iPhone beta and is not yet publicly available on the App Store. Join the waiting list for testing opportunities and launch news. The current private beta is complimentary. We plan a seven-day free trial followed by $9.99 per month at public launch, subject to the final App Store offer. Joining the waitlist does not start a trial or authorize a charge.

Your choices matter

My Person requires the recipient to accept a plan. Health access and sharing have separate choices. Peer conversations offer reporting and blocking. The AI companion is clearly identified as AI. Our privacy policy explains what SmartSober stores and shares.
