Enter a US ZIP code in Explore, or skip it until later. Search by a word that interests you and use the category, date and free-event filters. Fitness, outdoors, arts, family and community activities are included. Your ZIP is not shown in your peer profile or automatically shared with your support person.

Check the details with the organizer

Open an event to visit the original listing for its time, address, price and booking details. Public listings are refreshed as requests and provider availability allow. Event information can change, and some areas have fewer results. SmartSober does not sell tickets, reserve places or verify your attendance.

Thoughtfully filtered, with room for your judgment

Explore screens out alcohol-focused activities. That does not guarantee an alcohol-free venue or make every event the right fit for you. Read the organizer’s description and choose what supports the day you want to have. No listings available is a valid result, rather than a reason to show stale events.

Your location remains your choice

The feature uses the ZIP you enter instead of requiring precise GPS access. You can change or clear it. Public lookup and event providers receive the information needed to find the area and its events; your journal, recovery details and app credentials are not included in those provider searches.

Before you join

SmartSober is in private iPhone beta and is not yet publicly available on the App Store. Join the waiting list for testing opportunities and launch news. The current private beta is complimentary. We plan a seven-day free trial followed by $9.99 per month at public launch, subject to the final App Store offer. Joining the waitlist does not start a trial or authorize a charge.
